Overheating in urban areas

This working group explores how big cities can deal with the problem of overheating, which includes phenomena like high ozone concentration, increased energy consumption or growing health problems. The working group tries to develop a multi-dimensional approach, which first of all includes the integration of climate issues into urban planning, construction and the individual behaviour of the citizens.
